Inspirational Photographers: Scott Bulger

We all have areas of photography which appeal to us more, and I’ve already mentioned that black and white photography is a favorite of mine.  I’ve been scouring the Internet for good black and white photography sites for some time, and in one such search, Scott Bulger’s blog site came up.  That was about two years ago, and I’ve been enjoying Scott Bulger’s blog and photography ever since.  It’s definitely past time to highlight him as one of my inspirational photographers.

The following appears on Scott’s “About Scott” page:

“Working solely with B&W film for over 20 years, Scott developed a style that that noticed the details and displayed them in a unique way, separating them from their surroundings to concentrate on their inherent beauty. Scotts work has been displayed in many exhibits, published in text books, won numerous awards, and is included in many private collections.”

If you have any interest at all in black and white fine art photography, then Scott Bulger is definitely an artist you should get to know.  I’ve compiled some links and photos below to help you discover Scott Bulger’s work, as well as a video to help you understand Scott Bulger the artist.  Enjoy!
