Leaked Ricoh GXR Interchangeable Lens-Sensor Blocks -- Is This for Real?

This idea is either pure genius or a really bad marketing move.  Locking the sensor with the lens into a single, pretty much dust-free, interchangeable module definitely has its appeal.  Other than keeping dust off of the sensor, and optimizing sensor-lens pairings, I’m not sure that there are enough benefits to draw the market this direction.  Only time will tell.
