Sumo Paint: An Impressive New Online Image Editor
Sumo Paint is, by far, the best online image editor I’ve seen. You only have to play with it a short time to realize that they’ve taken online editing to another level. Why not start by diving into the web-based application located here, which is free, and open a complete editing environment (see picture below). There’s also a pro level version available that permits you to install the application locally besides providing many, many more editing options.
Here is a summary description of Sumo Paint from their site:
“Sumo Paint (www.sumopaint.com) is a thriving online art community of over a 10 million unique users and over 200 000 registered members from over 200 countries. The primary purpose of the community is to create, share, remix, explore, comment, rate and fave the artwork of its members. Sumo Paint is a full featured photo editing / painting application, which works right in your favorite web browser. The application can be used in Windows, Macintosh or Linux operating systems. The only requirement is the Flash Player (which usually comes preinstalled in any OS).”
I’m not one to use online image editors, but for those of you who see this as a viable option, it’s worth a few minutes of your time to peruse this product’s site.
Enjoy!
